Those who’ve flown with us through the first three volumes already know the journey. We’ve rooted our stories in island myth, populated them with strange creatures and uncanny futures, and reimagined Dominican and Caribbean folklore in ways that crack open new worlds. With The Flying Crapaud III: Heroes & Monsters, we dug even deeper, stretching our wings into bigger ideas, bolder storytelling, and richer cultural vision.

And now here we are again, ready to rise higher.

This fourth volume isn’t just another anthology for us. It’s part of a growing creative movement. Our mission has always been to reflect the islands’ traditional mythologies and then widen them, to make every creature, every legend, every frightened boy at the spring, every young woman shadowed by ancestral force, part of a narrative that places the Caribbean at the heart of speculative storytelling. With book four, we’re taking that mission even further.
